Doesn't stop him from joining in the fight against God-Lyn with a regular sword, and proving to be a rather capable combatant with it. Brought Down to Badass: For the majority of Part 2 he's separated from the Sword of Power and unwilling to transform without it.Contrasting the burly and almost Hunk-ish He-Man. Bishounen: As Prince Adam, he's got young teenage boyish good looks and a slender frame, yet overall is very good-looking and still handsome.Roboto pulls a Heroic Sacrifice to combine his two swords back together. This also makes it similar to how it originally was in the toy line and comics. The effort of trying to contain the power of the entirety of the universe being too much for it too handle. Bifurcated Weapon: What happens to his iconic Sword of Power when trying to save the universe from destruction from Skeletor.Beware the Nice Ones: He is a cheesy All-Loving Hero, but when Skeletor kills Moss-Man and makes a joke about it, He-Man gets enraged to the point of skewering Skeletor through the chest.Skeletor incinerating Moss Man leads Adam to snap and impale him outright, and Skeletor not only killing but damning Fisto and Clamp Champ is what prompts Adam to try transforming without the Sword. When he goes to Preternia after his death, he chooses to exist as his weaker Adam form rather than the superheroic He-Man. Although thanks to Evil-Lyn, that won't be much of a concern anymore. Barred from the Afterlife: Implied by Grayskull's warning that once he returns to the land of the living, he may never be able to return to Preternia.Back from the Dead: Physically returns from the land of the dead with the rest of the cast when he realizes Eternia is still in trouble. Here, He-Man rather obviously has at least a hundred pounds of muscle on the prince, so it's understandable why nobody would think they're the same person. ![]() In the original 1984 cartoon, Adam looked like He-Man in a different outfit. Adaptational Curves: Lack of curves, really.Even though he's horribly outmatched, he still chooses to fight an empowered Evil-Lyn alongside Skeletor and even manages to get a hit in. Action Survivor: Even when he lacks the power of Grayskull, he does not sit idly by.Now she’s no longer incomplete." I have the power!"The crown prince of Eternia and heir to the throne, Prince Adam has lived a secret double life acting as the clueless son of the king and queen while secretly defending the realm as He-Man. ( A higher buy it now price with free shipping turned out to be cheaper overall than ones without free shipping.) I wouldn’t even have minded Mattel upcharging me a few bucks for this vital accessory, but it evens out in the end. Luckily I found a loose Power Sword on eBay. (The blue flames work best with her open palms.) They included The Sword Of Grayskull with Savage He-Man, who specifically didn’t wield it in MOTU Revelation, but not her? Does Mattel just assume everyone already bought him to use as Ka-Zar & was waiting to give the spare sword to Lyn? I saw SkeleGod on Clearance at Walmart, but I still would’ve been one sword short had I bought him to accessorize her. It would’ve fit in the cardboard accessories box within her box that included alternate grasping hands with nothing to hold. Mattel already has a sculpt of The Power Sword for this line, so it wouldn’t require extra tooling. The most irritating thing is that Mattel neglected to provide her with The Sword Of Power despite her needing to acquire it to become Eviler-Lyn. “You can’t stop me! I’ve mastered universes!” ![]() This nigh-omnipotent nihilist is now ready for Carnival! Her belt jewel being translucent is a nifty extra flourish. ![]() The front of her skirt would’ve blended better if it was cloth like the back, but making it rubber allowed them to unobtrusively emboss the manufacturer info on its underside. These pauldrons are ball jointed to pivot out of the way of her shoulders. It’s attached to a removable backpack connected to her pauldrons. Not only is does it add extra dynamism to poses, the wired fabric cape recreates her starfield superbly. Mattel did an excellent job with her softgoods. (The model sheet just dubs her GodLyn, but it’s too late for me to delete all my hyphens!) The spiky halo collar is removable, but its absence will leave two holes on her clavicle. Powerhouse Animation gave Goddess-Lyn a very complicated design that doesn’t easily lend itself to an action figure, but Mattel mostly pulled it off. I didn’t buy a Skeletor just for her to choke because I’m fiscally responsible.
